P025 Using questionnaires to predict OSA in patients presenting to sleep clinics

Abstract Purpose In sleep clinics, the Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS) and STOP-Bang (SB) questionnaire are widely used to determine probability that a patient has obstructive apnoea (OSA), though neither were designed as triaging tool specifically for patients with suspected OSA. Previously we found ESS had poor correlation OSA presence severity determined by apnoea-hypopnoea index (AHI) >15. this paired clinical chart audit, if SB improved predictive ability thus better suitability clinic of compared ESS.
